Located in the heart of Zürich’s West End, schwarzescafé is situated within the prestigious Löwenbräukunst complex (District 5, Zürich). Situated on the first floor of the LUMA Westbau section, our distinctive and evolving multifunctional space was designed by Austrian artist Heimo Zobernig. Covering 230 square meters indoors, it breathes through a 4.5-meter-high ceiling, and leads to a 160 square meter-wide terrace planned by Zurich-based Annette Gigon & Mike Guyer Architects. Our neighbours in the complex are distinguished art galleries and non-profit cultural institutions.
We offer 60-minute guided tours of the LUMA Westbau for individuals or groups. These tours are conducted by art experts, who take guests on a walk around our current exhibitions whilst providing interesting insights and information. We offer a variety of different tours, so please contact us for more information.
Our free hotspot can only be accessed by guests with a valid mobile number, and is available for a limited number of hours, pending reauthorisation.
